XXL - Freshmen Class of 2011 cover

So while everyone else is still going apeshit over MTV's Top 10 UK Mc's list which means fuck to be fair, let me turn some attention back to the states for XXL's 2011 edition of the freshman class...the "who to watch" list for Hip Hop heads, generally...if they're on this list they're bound to make noise in the next 365 & beyond so get familiar if you're not.

Last years list included J.Cole, Wiz Khalifa, Nipsey Hussle & Big Sean...2009's had B.O.B, Kid Cudi, Wale, Asher Roth & Mickey Factz.

Shit that makes me happy...

So it seems the good doctor Andre Young aka Dr Dre is finally gonna bless us with that 'Detox' LP, a track from the album featuring Snoop & Akon called 'Kush' leaked yesterday (get that here) & has restored some faith in the project for me after that awful Jay-Z collab leaked around summertime.

Looks like I'll be buying XXL again soon then.
