Rozay in London

Made it down to the Ricky Ross show @ Hammersmith Apollo last night, was'nt as good as hoped but better than alot of the hip hop shows i've seen in London of late.

Highlights: BMF (of course), MC Hammer, Hustlin, Tears of Joy, Aston Martin Music & Rozay did his verse off Kanye's 'Devil in a New Dress' & 'Monster' which was a nice surprise.

Yeah there was some trouble (surprised? no!) but nothing major so people really shouldnt dwell on that he was on for about 45 minutes before the lights came on!

So it seems the good doctor Andre Young aka Dr Dre is finally gonna bless us with that 'Detox' LP, a track from the album featuring Snoop & Akon called 'Kush' leaked yesterday (get that here) & has restored some faith in the project for me after that awful Jay-Z collab leaked around summertime.

Looks like I'll be buying XXL again soon then.

Last night we rolled out to the Nike 'Destroy to Create' event @ the newly refurbed 1948 store, the Nike crew pulled out all the stops for the launch of the new Destroyer jacket (need one!) alotta faces in the place plus performances from The Gallows & Stalley, female boxing, live inking from Frith St tattoos plus the expected free booze flowing!

Besides the fact that I've worked closely with them for a while & will be doing alot of interviews on this new series of Tim & Barry TV + a few more concepts that will come to light very soon...the dudes simply deserve more credit for their contribution to the grime scene. All the recent online TV channels from the UK need to pay more homage to dudes, they did this before you and influenced you wether you want to admit it or not!

Frisco flows all over Guiedo's 'Mad Sax' instrumental on this, without a doubt one of Grime's best at the minute!
